Well, About Me.....
Where can I start?
I have always been interested in computers since a very young age. The first computer
I owned was a wonderful Commodore 64.
As you may have guessed I did not get my design skills and inspiration from here.
I then moved onto consoles like the Gameboy and Barcode Battler etc. (Which was
rubbish by the way!)
Computers have always been a part of my life in some shape or form, which made me
decide to further my career in IT.
I studied IT at School, Sixth form and then at University. Although I have done
many modules in my life to do with computing there was always one that stood out...
Web Design/Development.
This is what started it all off.
I have always loved how people interact with different things, like pulling doors
with handles only to find out they are push doors. This got me thinking... Why don't
I apply the skills and knowledge that I acquired from my HCI modules at university
to my Websites and applications.
As you may be able to see. I am doing that now by making everything simple and clear.
But talking way too much. So, to cut a long story short. I am now currently
working for an IT company in Consett as a Web Developer/Designer and have already
taken part in many large projects which involve new techniques that I am enjoying
learning. Please have a look at some of them which I have included in the My Sites
section.
